    Other photos by Brian A Marshall     Vickers Armstrong SPITFIRE LF Vc Originally delivered to the RAAF as A58-178, it crash landed in 1945 in the Solomon Islands and was eventually recovered in 1974 as a hulk. The aircraft is now finished in the colours No 249 Squadron with the markings as flown by F/Sgt John G 'Jack' Hughes in Malta in 1943.
